Hydrate plenty for 24 hours leading up to your IV
Eat prior to your drip
Wear comfortable clothes and something that can easily be rolled up above the elbow
Bring a laptop, phone, book, etc. — something to entertain or work on while you drip
Depending on your dosage your drip can take 2-4 hours. Each person is different but for 250mg we block at least 2 hours
